I agree w/ the digital cheaper. No reason not too. I sually NEVER buy a DLC game that’s over 20 dollars anyway. And especially older games and single players. I love those Xbox 75-90% deals and i think PS has to step up. Usually all they do is 50% and rarely 75% “good” stuff.

Also Harddrive Less Xbox would be ok at like 2-4 TB and at least 150 less. Again gotta look at the “well next gen we can’t use are old downloads”

And you CANT play Online Coop on Wii U? Jeez that system is sad XD

  • Dennis Crosby

I think you guys did a great job with your interview with Microsoft . You guys will continue to get hate from fanboys no matter what just keep up the great work

  • Dennis Crosby

I think halo 5 will release this year plus Halo 2 but it will be on Xbox360 since halo 5 won’t release on Xbox360.

  • DestryLP

Going on a limb and saying if that leak list WAS E3 and Halo 2 WAS confirmed, it wouldn’t really be a failure for Microsoft. That game would have a huge impact.

Great job as always guys. Just a little feedback Lady Luck was raging hungry in this episode lets tone it back a bit.

Loved the show ,but her whole mentality of the needs of the many out weigh the needs of the few is FK Annoying .

who ever the female is of this prod caste seem very Pro Sony…..i wanna ask her something…..Can you sell me on buying a PS4 because i cant find one reason since drive club got delayed….PLEASE TELL ME WHAT IM MISSING

    • Mandy Paez

Kind of hard to sell you on it if your only interest was Drive Club – that tells me right off that what you and I value in a console (assuming you are pro-MS and not just indifferent to both) as well as our likes in games are vastly different. So my reasons for wanting it are unlikely to convince you. If you’re not interested in what they have to offer right now, then you’re not missing anything. Same way that I’m not missing anything playing other platforms because what the XB1 has I don’t currently want.

I just want to start off by saying good episode. I feel Danny, you are one of the biggest Microsoft apologist. You say you’re tired of hearing about specs, but in my opinion over the years of listening to you guys, I believe if this was the other way around you would be singing another tune. This is the generation we as gamers need to have a bigger voice, stand up for ourselves and not apologize for the mistakes these console manufacturers and game devs are making. I do agree the specs aren’t that big of a deal and its about the content. This is another area that Sony is winning in. You kept saying Microsoft might do this and that but these are things that Sony is already doing. Look at the amount of free content they have released since launch And continuing to deliver on the PS3 with PS Plus. I bought a Xbox One and returned it after a week because there were a lot of fundamental things I didn’t like about the system. The ui needs to change, I like Kinect but there is to much Kinect integration where a button option would suffice. In my opinion Sony is doing a lot more for gamers as of right now and Microsoft is playing catch up. Anyways again good episode especially Mandy. I would love to get on an episode, keep up the good work.

They really have to give more incentives to digital purchases. It’s very disheartening to see deals and pre-order bonuses for physical purchases, whereas the SKU with the lowest overhead and inability to contribute to 2nd hand sales do not enjoy the same perks. Is the sway from physical retailers that far-reaching?

What gets me even more is that the whole Games with Gold program just shits in the face of eager buyers. If you purchase digitally, you don’t get jack when the game goes free. At least if you buy a physical copy, you can still sell that when the digital license is given away.

The lack of good discounts and the existence of programs like Games with Gold and PS+ free games promote a culture that discourages buying games early, and buying games digitally. It’s not good for the industry, especially for the non-AAA developers who don’t have the resources to weather a muted launch period.

What can be done? A $10 cheaper price would be a great start, but would retailers balk? Maybe a $10 rebate if purchased early (within a month of release) for Gold or PS+ members? If not, how about a $15 credit for early purchasers _if_ the game ever gets offered for free?
