Thanks for the shout out, funny that I bugged you this week for advice on our podcast and here this is. I’m totally writing something up for our site and sharing this podcast. SO much great advice! Loved Mandy’s part about her running blog, I too have a small side blog I do just for me. Everything we do should be because it’s fun, and I can always tell you guys are having a blast in every podcast and at every event. Much love.

      your site is great

TWiT makes at least $9,000,000/yr (as of 2011 or 2012).

Also, as a backer of almost 600 crowd-funded projects, I find both of Penny Arcade’s crowd-funding projects (especially in the context of their placement on Kickstarter, itself) to be pretty distasteful. They essentially gamed Kickstarter’s “all or nothing” model and its popularity as a platform to get the IndieGoGo “flexible – everything you pledge we keep” model. There’s no reason they couldn’t have simply setup a paypal link on their website and kept the crowd-funding platforms out of it.
