Telltale Announces Walking Dead Collectors Edition

By on October 22, 2012

Telltale Games have undoubtedly put together one of the best games to come out this year. With accomplished story teller Robert Kirkman helping them, don’t be surprised if The Walking Dead gets a Game of the Year nod from me. Previously only available via the Xbox Live Arcade, Playstation Store and Steam Marketplace, Telltale Games is about to go out like an axe to the head.

Starting today you can pre-order The Walking Dead Collector’s Edition at Gamestop for $69.99 and get all 5 episodes for your Xbox 360 or Playstation 3. You’ll also get The Walking Dead Compendium One and features Issues 1-48 of the hit comic series from Image Comics.

Featuring cover art exclusive to the Collector’s Edition, this is the first 48 issues of the fan-favorite, New York Times Best Selling series collected into one massive paperback collection! Over one thousand pages chronicle the beginning of Robert Kirkman’s Eisner Award-winning continuing story of survival horror- from Rick Grimes waking up alone in hospital, to him and his family seeking solace on Hershel’s farm, and the controversial introduction of Woodbury despot: The Governor.

Why..would…anyone…get….this… I bought the game knowing it was terrible, and it was! Had a little bit of fun with it. But this…just money grabbing at this point.
