Alright....now that I have time to sit down and actually respond to some of the opinions, fasten your seatbelt. I will make it as quick as possible.
NATAL - I have said it before and I am saying it again. You can have revolutionary hardware but, if you don't have the software that pushes it, you have nothing. Example: Sega Dreamcast. Now I see the Playstation Move as being a step up from the Wii. They look at the flaws of the Wii controls and "fixed" them supposedly. NATAL is a brand new experience, so it may open our eyes but it won't be great, just like the Wii.
3D - Does no one understand that the illusion of 3D is confined to your television screen? The reason it works in movie theatres is because the screen takes up everything in front of you. I will take my case, I have a 42" tv and I sit about 5ft away. Guess what, I can still see stuff around the tv. How can you be "immersed" unless you're sitting right in front of your tv so that you can't see anything around it? You can't.
Another point...normally a 3D movie will run appx. 2-3 hours. I have heard people complain that their eyes were hurting after watching Avatar in 3D. Now that is just taking in a whole picture, in a game you are constantly straining and focusing your eyes on 1 or 2 different areas. 3D is just not practical for game and home use at this moment in time. Manufacturers are just trying to throw "new technology" at us, that is just reproducing the same shit technology from the 70's, down our throats.
Side note: Microsoft please, please PLEEEASE put more dedicated memory in the "slim" that is used for the Dashboard/Guide. When I have to wait 1 minute(no lie) to bring up a message sent to me while I'm in a game, it feels like I'm on an old PC.
Alright, I'm done....for now.
