Good show. Talk about fighting games and Paustin comes alive!

I have a few disappointments with FFXIII. I love the battle system, but it has a few flaws. One was brought up with the Eidolons. I think they are pretty much useless, other than saving your butt when everyone is down and you are about to follow. The one which is the most bothersome however, is the animation sequences when you change paradigms. I don't need to see an action pose when I need instant change of class support. I have died a few times because of this, really annoying.

Unfortunately it seems like all the boss fights(including the Eidolon fights) are mostly trial and error. If you start it wrong, then you will die. I am stuck on the chapter 11 boss as well. I get it to less than half health, it then kills me in two shots, faster than I can heal myself with a haste buff enabled. After dying about 10 times, I'm back at the drawing board and thinking of equipping my team with anti-thunder/lightning stuff. Frustrating.

Other than that, the story has gotten better. I am liking where it's going, but getting there is becoming a hassel.

Took me 13 minutes to beat him but I did it damn it. Used Lightning, Snow and Hope. Added the Strategic Warfare Paradigm to them(Commando, Sentinel, Synergist). Equipped each one with a resist lightning/magic/damage&magic for each respectively. Hope is a hell of a medic, and also gives you the advantage of a synergist in the group. I had the boss down to about 1/4 life when I used Lightning's Eidolon. At a certain point you just keep healing your guys until the boss stops doing its strongest attack. When everyone is at full health and buffs, switch to relentless assault. Right when anyone's health turns yellow, go into either Solidarity or Combat Clinic depending on the severity. Also, the other thing I did, was open a beer. That could have been the secret ingredient all along.

Team Godfree accepts defeat?!? Never!!

I agree that we love the bonus stages, but not on all games. I was able to get on all Sonic games endings, and I did my best on the bonus stages to get the true ending (and of course, Super Sonic power!)

I knew it, Mandy!!! I suspected since FF was released that you would write an editorial about it. I will wait for your comments and give you my ideas as well.

I do like to write from time to time. I have been known to speak my mind on different things. Just haven't written anything, I don't know, that would be published even on a website. Maybe something I would like to look into. Anyway I can help Godfree. By the way, I have brought a new person to the community, while I may be my girlfriend, that counts right?

Haha yep. I've been making edits and re-writing it slowly as I play farther and farther through the game. So you'll get my full view on that soon =]
