I think this games is the premier launch title and I traditionally don't even like WW2 games. There's just something about this game that draws you in though. This will probably be the first game I play when I get my X360, although Perfect Dark Zero is a strong possibility with me because of how much I played the original on N64.

I plyed it on the Kiosk. This game is gonna live and die on its Live capabilities. I heard it was gonna support only 8 players online. I hope thats wrong.

That's kinda true...I read an article that said that if you have a fast enough internet connection (T1 maybe) then more than 8 would be possible but he wouldn't commit to anything. Will see if i can find the link.

All I can say is play it first. If you still don't like it then fair enough. I think you will be surprised by it though. The whole atmosphere makes this game different plus the controls are great IMO.

Well il check it out but i douth that i will like it.Its not the game play that i hate,its the old stories,old guns,old everythings.Got used to much on games and movies.WW2 isnt interresting to me anymore.

Modern Combat isn't bad but like most games people overhost what their connections can handle. I really don't like WW2 games as I said many times but this one is good. If you don't like it there's always PDZ and Quake 4.

PDZ didnt catch my eye but Quake 4,i might try it out.Still unsure.I mostly go for realistic games.Quake was good before on the Dreamcast.

This game is very good and single player mode alone will have you glued for hours. I am generally the type of guy who doesn't even play campaigns and goes right to multiplayer but this games single player is that good. The action is non-stop(sh%t is hitting the van on every turn) and the visuals and surround is great. I am very glad I took this at launch. I will be playing multiplayer today and will post my thoughts later..

After finishing single player mode which was alot of fun I moved on to multiplayer. After playing a few times I think I understand why this is 8 people only. I think if they had more time before launch they probably could have made this better. I just went the route of playing quick match do get the feel of the game. The gameplay is very solid and the shooting is accurate. But god forbid someone in the room has a bad connection or perhaps is pushing the standby button. The effects of lag are like those I have never seen before. It is almost like things will slow down to a crawl and then speed up to the speed of light and back and forth until the problem is gone. What I did notice is that everyones ping is posted after the match. In every game I played my ping was between 40-80 but I saw people in the high 200's. Are we playing on outside servers like EA has us doing on their titles? They maybe need to send a patch that will kick players with high pings...It kills the whole experience. God Imagine 16players LMAO.

PS. If your still using the cheapest internet package your isp gives you...stop being cheap!!

All the maps I have played are pretty small and just fine for 8 people. There is alot of sniping going on for sure. I played a match of ctf yesterday which was good.

My biggest problem with this game is the people hosting with shitty connections..they better send a patch so someone like me can create a lobby and then we can get rid of the nasty lag that is killing this game.
