What happen to wi-fi out of the box?

After looking over final specs on this months issue of EGM it shows a wireless adapter for the Xbox 360.

I was under that impression that is was going to be wi-fi out of the box supporting b/g connections?

So we still need to use the ethernet cable to connect the Xbox 360 to live.... This sucks.....

Plus the wireless adapter is live $100.00.


Anyone care to shed some light in this matter?

at first I thought it will be Wi-fi but yes it will be like the old Xbox system. I dont mind about it but this will be good if you are out of town. Dont want to be taking wires all the time.
