great podcast but sony already confirmed none of of our psn downloads transferring over. and yes they are idiots

True but i dont think that Microsoft will do that and the reason why is because i just upgraded from a HTC Windows Phone 7 to a Nokia Windows Phone 8 and it was very easy to transfer all my Xbox games to my new phone. So that makes me think that Microsoft has spent millions and there arcade and on demand network of games so i doubt they will though it all away and start from scratch …

This show sounded like a bunch of xbox fans living in the past. Sorry guys it isn’t 2007 or 2008 anymore. Sony is killing the industry right now.

Did you even listen to the show or are you just blindly trolling? Parris, JVB and HHG are PS3 fans, Mandy is indifferent and Paustinj actually bought one this past week.

When the PS3 and Xbox 360 first came out a lot of games where “only on Xbox”
or “timed exclusives” on Xbox because it took 3rd party programmers a long time
to figure out how to program for the cell processor that Sony put in the PS3.
And this is what hurt Sony the most this generation and why i think they lost
this generation. But that being said For the next generation Sony is off to a
really good start with making the PS4 an X86 architecture so its easier to
program for but i think in this economy and with so many studios closing, the
days of exclusive 3rd party games is a thing of the past so it comes down to who
can make the best 1st party games. And as far as the XBL PSN debate goes if you
think about it XBL is only $5 a month, most people spend more then that on
coffee every day, so its not very much at all and we have yet to hear anything
about PSN on the PS4 it might cost the same if not more, I have no doubt that
Sony looks at the millions that Microsoft make on XBL and want a little for them
self and like I said in this economy you have to make money anywhere you can. So
Now lets wait and see what Microsoft brings to the table with there next system
and hope that all the rumors are just that. I for one have a lot of faith that
Microsoft will have something big come April to sway all the PS4 lovers …..

I’m listening to this right now and it’s totes awesome podcast.

My question is (and someone may bring this up later) but what about the difference between the relative openness of Playstation and their growing platform vs Microsoft closing themselves off with that small but significant change to their legal identity with that whole inability to stream or what have you.

For me that says a lot about their stance in terms of closing off more and more of their platform. Plus Windows 8 is kinda terrible. Unrelated, but… y’know… related
